Salesmanship

“If people like you, they will listen to you. But if they trust you, they will do business with you!”                        – Zig Ziglar

Selling is not exclusively related to offering goods and services. It is utilized by all on a daily basis. It consistently happens in discussion emerging from topics such as religion, sports, politics, personal and business relationships to name just a few. Since it is an integral part of our lives, salesmanship has the power to affect us and others in a positive and decisive way, promoting an improved quality of life. Indeed, the ones who have the ability to make others accept their point of view, act proportionally, genuinely and eagerly, possess an incredible potential.

In the business world, salesmanship is needed in almost every aspect. It is, of course, necessary for a proper sales cycle starting from creating leads to closing a deal. But it is also required in customer service, dealing with suppliers, interacting with staff and team members including management. It will serve while promoting your ideas, explaining projects or justifying actions and results.

It is fair to admit then, that superior salesmanship should involve trust and excellent communication skills while mastering the fine art of influencing, convincing and persuading people. It should be used ethically, honorably, righteously and honestly.

This is our vision at Progressive Human Development Services: To develop superior salesmanship to benefit others and oneself alike, thus promoting a higher quality of life for all.
